Royal Enfield Himalayan an adventurer tourer bike launched in India in early 2016 and followed by launched in the international market later that year. Name Himalayan inspired by RE’s 60 years of enduring history in the Himalayas. A South African designer named Pierre Terblanche designed the Himalayan.
It has been always a choice of off-roading riders since it’s launched. Here’s a glimpse of all-new updated Himalayan.
Price of RE Himalayan
Royal Enfield Himalayan is an adventure touring bike. RE has reintroduced the new updated Himalayan BS6 compliant for Indian customers in January 2020 at a starting price of 1.86 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
RE Himalayan Engine and Variants
It comes with two variants, Himalayan ABS and top variant is Himalayan sleet. The Himalayan has long been a favorite adventure bike courtesy of its performance and price tag.
IT has powered by, BS6 compliant, 411cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, SOHC, air-cooled, fuel injection, it’s makes 24.3bhp and 32Nm of torque and 5-speed manual gearbox.
In addition, it has Now Equipped with dual-channel switchable ABS (ABS can disconnect from the rear wheel) and it is more flexible to have real off-roading.
In BS6 addition RE has listened to the customer feedback and resultantly the change in braking mechanism meant the stopping distance has reduced. Improved the side stand allow leaner and include a hazard lamp switch.
Available Colors In RE Himalayan
Additionally, RE has added two new dual-tone colors option Lake Blue and Red Rock to the existing color option list. Other color schemes available with Himalayan are Sleet Grey, Gravel Grey, Snow White, and Granite Black. These two new colors look more attractive than others.
IT has large spoke wheels 17 inches at the rear and 21 inches at the front wheel. It also has a 220 mm high ground clearance to ensure smooth riding in tough terrain. Seats are designed to get more comfort during long riding experience. It is also offering three years warranty with the all-new updated Himalayan.
