One diet that will change your life. It helps you to burn fat, improve your skin and hair. Also, it helps you to maintain a high energy level in your body. This diet is written in all ancient texts of all communities like Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, Sikhism, Jainism, and Buddhism. This is known as INTERMITTENT FASTING or FASTING LIFESTYLE BASED DIET. This diet is very important for the normal human body.
Here, we will tell you the science behind this diet plan and also about how you can continue this diet plan in your life. So first we will see the science behind that. Science says as your age increase, your metabolism lowers.
How metabolism is important?
That means the internal speed of the body. In simple words your body is like a factory and machine of that factory is your body organs. So that means is when metabolism level is high that means your body’s internal working speed is high. High metabolism level means high body energy level, high fat burning capability, and good nutrient repartitioning capability. If your nutrient repartitioning is good then your body deposits food into muscles. So if your metabolism is low then your body nutrient repartition is weak that means you cannot digest food properly and food will convert into fat. So the point is Intermittent fasting will help you to improve your Metabolism, Nutrient repartitioning, and maintain the energy level of the body.
What is intermittent fasting?
The answer to this question is you need to starve your body for a minimum of 12 hours and a maximum of 16 hours a day. That means you can’t eat food for a minimum of 12 hours and ideally 16 hours. This will change your body hormonal profile. Mainly two hormones will change 1.Human Growth Hormone (HGH) 2.Insulin HGH is a repairing hormone in our body. If you go to the gym and do some exercise it will damage your mussels then HGH will help you to repair that damage mussel so basically your metabolism will increase.
The second one is Insulin or insulin sensitivity. High insulin sensitivity means high fat burning capability. It will help you to burn fat and increase muscles. These if your adrenaline and noradrenaline level increase then your energy level will boost. During the fasting period, your body will increase the level of HGH, insulin sensitivity, adrenaline, and noradrenaline and this is a healing mechanism for the human body. Your body will be in repair mode during the starvation period of your Intermittent Fasting.
Ayurveda says you need to eat food for 12 hours only. You need to eat food during morning 6 or 7 O’clock to evening 6 to 7 O’clock only. This diet has advantages and disadvantages also. The first week of this diet is very difficult for people, only the disadvantages of this diet. This diet suitable for normal people only with normal medical conditions. Some times this will affect your social life in case of a friend or family party.
How to start Intermittent Fasting?
During your fasting period, you should not eat anything. You can only have water during fast. If you feel very hungry during the fasting period you can only drink green tea or black tea that means only tea without milk and sugar. If you feel very low energy level and you feel very uncomfortable then you only take 1 TSP cow ghee, 1 TSP virgin coconut oil or 1TSP virgin Olive oil. You can only take 100 calories in case of an uncomfortable situation only. So these are all about the fasting period.
What should the feed period during intermittent fasting?
The first meal after fasting should be raw fruit because fruit absorbs fast in the human body. If you don’t like fruit you can eat raw vegetables. After 30 min you can eat your first regular meal. But center peace of regular meals should be protein. White is a source of protein like chicken or fish to avoid rad meat here. With these, you should take complex carbs like whole-wheat roti, brown rice or sweet potato. For vegetarian people, they can take paneer, boiled sprouts or tofu. This should be your first meal.
In the second meal, you should take a protein shake and nuts. You should avoid carbs in the second meal. You can also take the boiled egg in the second meal. Now finally the last and third meal. The time of the third meal in the evening should be the same as the first meal. Here again, canter peace of the third meal should be protein, vegetable, and carbohydrate. Avoid carbs for dinner if you want to lose weight. Avoid starchy vegetables at dinner. You can break Intermitted fasting two times in a week.
